Adjacent to Patanjali Yogpeeth, there is a Herbal Garden for visitors and patients to procure medicinal plants at very low price. For teaching and training of the students, in the herbal garden of Patanjali, cultivation and scientific research on the medicinal plants is carried out and for this purpose green houses, poly houses and glass houses have been constructed to conserve the rare species of herbs collected from Himalaya and other different regions of the country. The rare and endangered plants are cultivated in the garden for the purpose of research and medicinal use. At present almost four hundred and fifty species of medicinal plants are available in the garden.
