Day by day system cannot be considered good. For finding a solution to this deplorable situation, we want to revolutionize the educational Dsystem. Instead of increasing the number of educated unemployedyouths, we want to prepare such young men and women who, with their education, bring a revolution in the society and nation, and make their important contribution in the development of the nation.

The masses mired in sickness and disease are making the nation dependent in the matter of health-care. We want to save the people ofthe country from loot and atrocity in the name of treatment ofdiseases. We want to stop the economic misuse oflakhs and crores ofrupees in the name of health services. Yog and Ayurveda are our cheap, simple, easy, permanent, scientific, faultless and complete systems of treatment.

We want to establish Yog and Ayurveda as our national system of treatment, and to fulfil this objective, we want to produce competent and proficient scholars of Yog and Ayurveda in our University of Patanjali.

Through the University of Patanjaliwe want to create a new era by revolutionizing education and health-care. We want to produce such graduates who being self- dependent themselves shall create opportunities of employment and self-reliance for others in the field of health-care, and who shall make their important contribution in making India healthy rich and cultured by removing sickness, unemployment, poverty, hunger and want. This university will be a leading institution in the world in the field of Yog, health, culture, tourism, science, technology and Panchkarma,this is our goal. The university will prove the scientific validity ofYog, will coordinate Ayurveda,Naturopathy and other systems of ancient treatment, will develop a joint system oftreatment, and will make the students self-reliant. Knowledge, wisdom, knowledge of the Supreme Soul and knowledge of materialism are our rich, perennial Vedic heritage. In the first instance arrangements have been made to provide diploma courses based on Yog and Panchkarma. From the academic session 2010-11, B.A., M.A., M.Sc. in Yog were started and M.A. Psychology was started w.e.f. 2013-14. Other courses will also be introduced in due course of time.
